A multi-tenant CRM with one database per tenant. Here is how a single request is routed, authorized, audited, and billed.

  1. 01

    One request enters

    Every call arrives carrying a JWT. Nothing about the caller is trusted yet — not their identity, not their tenant, not their rights.

  2. 02

    Permissions, not roles

    Authorization is granular: the token carries scopes, and each handler declares the exact scope it needs. A missing scope fails the request before any business code runs.

  3. 03

    Database per tenant

    The resolver maps the tenant claim to its own connection. Tenant B's query is physically unable to read tenant A's rows — isolation is a topology guarantee, not a WHERE clause anyone can forget.

  4. 04

    Everything is written down

    A regulatory audit trail records who changed what, when, and the before/after state. Written in the same transaction as the change, so the log can never disagree with the data.

  5. 05

    Money is the fragile part

    Bridge and Stripe calls cross a network that fails. Each one is idempotent and retried with backoff, so a timeout never becomes a double charge.
